I have a great respect for traditional pottery, specifically japanese, and enjoy making functional work for everyday use. each piece is hand made (thrown or handbuilt) and unique with a fair degree of variability even between matched pieces. In addition to cups and bowls i love to make bottle shapes of all sizes. oh and ash glazes, yeah those are really cool too.
