Rehabilitees™
Helping imperiled animals get back to the wild
When you buy a Rehabilitees shirt, you are helping to save the lives of animals that are sick, injured, orphaned and often casualties of our urban environment.
Each shirt has an image of a real animal (including its hospital intake number) that was rescued and cared for by California Wildlife Center.
CALIFORNIA WILDLIFE CENTER (CWC) cares for more than 2,000 animals each year by providing paramedic rescue, medical treatment and rehabilitation to sick, injured or orphaned native animals in Southern California.
The Rehabilitees line was conceived by Juliet Beynon, a graphic designer who is president of Beynon Creative Communications, who has also served for seven years on the Board of California Wildlife Center. She commissioned her daughter, Julia Beynon, also a designer and student at Art Center, to design these limited edition shirts showing real rescued animals as a way to benefit the Center which relies solely on donations.
